The first major milestone in Netop’s Lodge Restoration Campaign – the new main entrance and demolition of the old chimney – is nearly complete! The project was made possible thanks to the generous support of Netop’s alumni and current camper families. It’s part of a $125,000 investment in the 80 year old structure over the next two years. Other upcoming upgrades include changes to the electrical system, a new roof, expanded kitchen and office space which will take place during the off-season and in conjunction with our annual volunteer weekend (held June 18-20 this year). Contact us if you haven’t had a chance to contribute to the lodge campaign or would like to lend a hand during volunteer weekend.

December 27th, 2009

Having already raised over $45,000 from the Lodge Restoration Campaign, Netop is pleased to announce that improvements have begun on the historic 1927 structure. The new front entrance is already nearly complete (pictured above). Crews dismantled the old chimney (pictured below) to make way for the new entrance. A new roof, expanded office, upgraded electrical service, bathroom upgrades and an expanded camp kitchen are also in the works and will be phased in over the next two years. We are grateful for the many financial contributions from alumni and Netop families that make this project possible. Visit the Lodge Campaign page to learn more about the effort and how you can help.
